DPF in a 13 gallon tank?

Hi there

I have been wondering about putting a Dwarf Puffer into my 13 gallon hexagonal tank-- have heard that due to the height/lack of horizontal space it is probably best just to have the one. Anyways, was looking into filtration, and was wondering if 2 HOB filters would be sufficient, plus twice weekly water changes? Do these puffers have an issue with too much flow? Also, are there any good ways to keep ramshorn snails/other snails/other food to feed these guys?
Been doing some research on them but any articles about them/general advice would also be awesome :)

Other thing I've been looking into is a pair of figure eight puffer fish for my long 26 gallon, anyone with experience with this?

it's best if you just keep one or have a group more than 2 but your 26 gallons tank can't hold more than 2 (unless you get a pair male and female) hehehe also it's brackish water so you will have to convert your fresh water to brackish overtime.
 
I suspected as much-- they're quite aggressive, aye? Best to go with just one then :P thought I would ask anyways
I'll weigh up keeping a figure eight vs a DPF at some point, possible I'll end up with both types hehe :)
Did hear the figure 8s were low end brackish-- 1.008-1.008 was it?
 
1.005 it's a lowest. At that point some plants still able to live in brackish water (if you plan to have real plants). You can convert it to full saltwater and it still be fine.
 
Cool, so I could probably use plants such as java fern, christmas moss, anubias?
Was mainly planning to scape it with lots of driftwood and smooth rocks, but always love having plants in my set ups so that would be awesome.
 
Christmas moss, java fern and anubias are the plants I already have hah so wouldn't be buying anything if I used those.
