Ever since I bought my DSLR I promised my self that I'd get some shots up. It's been half a year and because of school, I haven't given it much of a chance. But now is the time! I'll be using this thread for my photos of anything fish related. All tips accepted! Keep in mind that I am no where near a 'professional'!

After preparing my growout tank yesterday juvie silver arowanas I picked up. I also did water changes on the main tank.

The photo below is my first ever attempts at shooting my two ornate bichirs. The one in the front is approx. 15-16", the one behind is a bit smaller. I hope I can keep this updated often for you all to enjoy! (I hope)

Awesome ornates. Show some full tank set up photos too..

The stock in the tank is less than impressive. But I'll be sure to take one when I get home from class today.

Looking at some photos here on the forum left me speechless. I'll need to invest in a new lens real real soon. lol

Here are a couple shots from the arowana grow out tank! First is of my geophagus. I am unsure of the type, but it was a sort of a rescue. Put him in along with a flagtail prochilodous(sp). I thought this shot looked okay.

Here is a shot of my flagtail. It's at around 6" at the moment growing with my arowanas. I've become a big fan of this fish!

Last shot for today is of the big boy in the main tank. May not be as pretty as some other aros out there. But sure has personality and spunk!
