Was watching Better Homes and Gardens on Channel 7. Now, a few weeks ago, he showed on national tv how to setup a tiny tank, yet most of the things told to the viewers were potentially harmful to the fish.
Now, tonight he showed us how to set up a Betta Tank, yet it was a 1/2G bowl.
He pulled out a 'heater pad' to go under the bowl, and said, they need a temp of 25-30C. Which is equal to 77-86F.
And get this, he placed 'treated' water in the bowl, and said do it slowly as any dust might fly up into the tank. WHY DIDNT HE CLEAN IT!!!
So this run wasnt as bad as previous shows. But still didn't explain anything about filtering and water changes.
Anyone else in Australia experiance anything like this?
