i went to a discusting shop in a small mountain town close to home and it was very old school you know.On the front desk was a iggy in a 2 foot tall by 1 deep and maybee 1 and half wide, iggy was like 1 and a half.Next to it was a 50 gallon with an adult male beardy with no feet and half tail.On the tank was a sign that read this is what happens after they breed that the females will bite parts off the males or something close to that.Dude ive bread beardeds for about 5 years or so a few years back but nothing even close to that ever happend.Im in cali and his fd up herp cages were just tanks with gravle or other such jacked up substrates and every snake dang near was an adult king, gopher an other natives that i know dang well hes plucked from the land up there. They all looked so bad,and they were all right in the same room with all the birds, rats and mice.Sad day.Beautiful land though so that was nice thank God.lol

sorry i named the thread dragon crap because i was only going to talk of the beared but i changed my mind, lol

thought i would get more of a reaction on the bearded with no feet whatsoever, lol.Oh well.

That's horrible with the beardie. I hate pet shops like that!!!

thats all terrible. at one store around here, there is a beardie that can't move hardly at all. it wasn't the shops fault though (or so they say), because it was traded in like that(or was it?). the guy at the store said it was because of a calcium deficiency. the poor thing would fall on its back after struggling to get on its log, and would not be able to flip itself over on its own. thankfully though, the guys working there would flip it over every once and a while.

well the beardeds ar known to bite off siblings feet tails or legs if crowded hungry and babies. But this one was a bunch of bull, dude my adults were always together, not males but he said the females bit its feet off,i mean no feet!Bs!.And how long before ppl all around the world know that desert herps need uvb and usualy calcium.Dang!
