anyone keep any dragonfly larve or dobson fly larve. Just wondering, catch these two alot when bait catching wonder how they would be to keep in captivity?

I don't know about keeping dragonfly larvae. All I know is that they are dangerous predators. You do not want to keep them with any small fish. Give it a shot. I'd like to hear if you successfully reared it to adulthood.

will do i have a 6 gal that i could maybe put two or three in. I still have some calcium from the days of corals i could add so they molt correctly. This could be interesting. or maybe I will do a single dobson fly larve in that six havent decided.

I've kept dragonfly larvae when I was around 10. I had no idea what they were back then. I fed them earthworms and then one day one of them climbed out of the water onto a stick. I threw him back but he kept climbing out. After a while this white thing climbed out and I freaked. I put it back into the water but it looked like it was drowning so I took it back out. After an hour I am the proud owner of a dragonfly:headbang2
