Okay so I have a Dragon Goby together w a archer and a stonefish in my brackish tank. Together they have been doing great but when I woke up this morning my Dragon Goby, being the escape artist he is, managed to get out of what I thought was a secure enough hood. When I noticed him behind the tank I though he was dead for sure. He looked dried up as if he'd been out there for 4plus hours. When I grabbed him to dispose of the corpse, to much my surprise, he was moving, though dried, very active so I through him back in immediately. He went crazy for a bit and seemed to gasp his mouth repeatedly in an attempt to breath but after a few minute just burrowed himself under his buddy the stonefish and seemed okay. I've done my research on dragon gobys but this is my first one so my question is, are they that hardy of a fish that they can be out of what several hrs and still survive??? Just as catfish can stay out of the water hours on end and still survive, are dragon gobies the same way??? Should I be concerned about him bouncing back and is there anything I can do to help???? Advice please!!!!
