dragon gobys

i have two dragon gobys, one about 6in and the other about 4in. i thought the 4in was missing because he was nowhere to be found in the tank for three days.. last night i finally saw it just chillin in the open. and now i cant find the 6in.. i figured it would be under the gravel because thats what my peacock eel does.. but i cant seem to find it. do these guys have a habit of turning invisible?

Check inside of decorations, inside of filter, and the surrounding floor space. If there is an opening to get out they can get quite far away from the tank before drying out.

found it. with no effort of course, they just reappear.. freaking ninjas

Mine would disappear all the time. Turns out that the cave I have has hollow walls and they burrowed under it and went up inside the walls through the air-release holes.
