So this happened a week ago... i seen him in the castle when i woke up.. i've seen him swim through the tower parts before.. i go out and come back several hours later... and hes still there... so i reach in and pick up the castle.. and the dragon goby didnt move... omg he stuck..

well it took some time.. and he came out the way he came in..to slimy to pull so i had to push... and it didnt look good. i didnt take a pic of how he looked because i was busy getting my 20g ready.. removing the fish in there and the deco, also adding salt. if you look at the week after pic ((last 2)) you can see the 'ring'.. well the skin came off and was red around... omg it was nasty, atleast hes looking alot better, im hoping to put him back in the 50g this week end.... but only if it heals more

Well i removed the big castle.. its sitting under the 50g in the cabinet.

Ps.. the snowflake lights up and changes colors... granny forgot it over xmas... and i put it there :screwy:

omg wow..it took me a moment to even see him..i was like what goby?!.

but wow thats crazy i have read they are pretty blind.

^_^ good to here he is doing better.

i had the same castle my old belly crawler pike used that same spot

Oh my god! It's a good thing you were able to get him out, and that him being stuck for so long didn't stress him to death!

I'm so glad he's healing up. Note to self: don't use those castles!

I see you said you added salt to the 20g, do you keep him in fresh or brackish in the 50? I have mine is freshwater, with plain aquarium salt added at a reduced mix which he seems to thrive in.

This is exactly why I never use fake decorations, they look terrible and are death traps for some fish!
I agree, clay pots and Driftwood may not be as "pretty" or "cool" looking but it done correctly I believe its much better for your fish.

Why was the castle leaning in the first place? xD Hiding spots? Haha.

yuppers my pleco hid in there >< hes to big to get in from the front so put it on the side.. then he (i dont know how) got into the little one.. so i had to do the same
