Dragonstone + Green Things

Any recommendations for plants/moss to grow on/inside dragon stone? I've been thinking java moss is my only option, and I like it cause I think it'll drape down my rock formation but I'm not familiar with the process or my options.

Is it harder then I think to encourage growth on rocks?

I have telanthera, vallisneria, dwarf hair grass, and cryptocoryne balansae on the way to fill out the rest of the tank.

It takes effort to keep the moss clean - shrimps help here a lot. You can also try marimo moss balls - just take them apart and place them.
Another possibility - why not some Anubias Nana Petite? (sometimes it's called bonsai, nana mini mini, etc., I think it's the same species).
My idea (not a suggestion) for scape: some big plants in the far left corner and small driftwood - tree looking in front of the right rock.

You could probably superglue some moss to the rock to help get it started, then from there just let it grow and take over...
