Check out the crazy difference in color between my NTT's.

Does the environment affect color? I don't want the little guy to fade and get ugly, but he's been with me a couple months now and when he's stable, he still looks like mayan treasure :D

There is 2 different color phase NTT come in and you just happen to have both. The little guy is the golden phase and your other one is going to be more silver in color or grayish. That little one is going to look nice as it gets bigger.

I don't think he looks ugly at all!

True neither do I lol, guess I just want the little one to keep that nice golden color.

Cool, thanks for the info! Both of my smaller ones have that nice gold color.

Both very nice.I actually like the one on the last pic. I think a nice plump fat thinbar is one of the nicest tigers.
I had ntt but for only 6 months. It went from yellow, to pale cream , and eventually backto yellow.
I'm trying my luck again with a thinbar hopefully will pick up Sunday. I'll post in the media lounge, once it settles in.

Thank you Ade. :) Thinbars are my favorite tigers mos deff.. When I was looking into them, I read that they are the shyest, but mine are always out, and rarely unstable.

They still wont take pellets alone, I have to hide pieces of massivore in their food.

Good luck with your new NTT! I'll keep an eye out for the pics :)

Thank you Bryant! I'm glad you helped get me into these fish, they are awesome.
