Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone dries some of the food for your fish? I slice squid in little strips. I then I put it in the oven at about 175-200 degrees F. I also feed my fish undried foods also. I realized that the food I usually food sinks and all the middle to bottom fish gets it all. I have a small aro and I use the dried squid for him because it will float. Any other ideas? Thanks, the Doctor.

I haven't thought about drying food myself. I just by freeze dried krill, bloodworms, and plankton. All floats, and our cichlids love it.

I have never dried myself. I buy freeze dried lots of things. My Betta Fish are not into it, but our Oscars and Guppies love it.

I actually have the exact opposite problem. Needing to feed my mantis shrimp and cuttlefish, freshwater feeder fish and freeze dried foods keep floating back to the surface. Very annoying for me.
