I want to know if it is OK to feed my cichlids/flowerhorn's the dried shrimp you see selling in chinatown that are usually in a box open lol in the market????????????

i feed my silver aro FD shrimps from this chinese store. its kinda funny bc the human FD shrimp is actually cheaper that the ones from LFS
I just buy cheap shrimp for human consumption from local super markets, as said its much cheaper than from a fish shop....They love the stuff, we dont have china towns where iam, would be atleast a 2-2.5hr drive...forget that
the only thing that would concern me is if anything was salted before it was dried out.
otherwise, chinatown is a perfect place to get stuff for your fish. all different kinds of seafood, from the common to the "how does a human eat that
" are extremely popular in china and in turn chinatown, and you could find some real good stuff to give your fish for a pretty good price i would imagine.

ok thanks guys, like stated above the way the preserve it might be a problem... salt and sulfur dioxide... ill use test fish lol
