no offence but 700 bucks is ridiculous. go local craigs list for 50 bucks, its just a chunk of unknown wood.

a family member is selling this. I asked her if I could post it on different fish groups I'm in. It's really a cool piece so I wanted to give the fish folks a crack at it. She's had some interest from furniture making folks already (upturned to make the base of a table). True- I have no idea what kind of wood it is. If there is any interest the price is certainly negotiable. Starting at $700 due to the sheer size of the piece (approx 5' long). Certainly ain't gonna fit in any tank I have but if anyone is interested, shoot me an offer. I'll pass it along to my sister in law. To be honest, I've never shipped something this size so wouldn't even know where to start but will figure something out if you're interested.
 
I've only ever checked out pricing on much smaller pieces of driftwood (those sell for around $50 in my area - hence the higher starting price).. for those of you with much larger tanks and go after stuff like this- what's a reasonable price range?
