Anyone have any bad experiences keeping bog log in a tank with silver or black arowanas. Im trying to figure out what caused a patch of damage on his side. Either Jumping or running up against some driftwood. Should I take the driftwood out of my tank? Or are the smart enough to avoid obstacles?

if you feed live feeders, then the aros might damage their scales when they hit the driftwood while chasing the feeders.. but if you feed frozen foods i don't think their a problem... my black and rtg always gets the foods before it hits the ground so the driftwood isn't a problem in my tank :)

Some are rather clumpsy thus will injuried themselves with the driftwood.

aros sometime rub their body against this driftwood. my buddy's cheek has a cut cause of this.
