Is it possible to glue two pieces of driftwood together with silicone, or will they just break apart?
thanks.

the wood is already waterlogged, I have just heard mixed things about stainless steel in aquarium water. Maybe I'll try the silicone and if it doesn't work I'll go with the screw. Now if only the anubias I'm trying to plant on it would just stay!:irked::irked::irked:

old thread i know, but you could always use cable ties

Aa far better way,i have found to attach java fern and anubis is to get a flat drill bit, they come in various sizes 10mm-32mm and put a hole in the wood and just wedge the java or anubis in there stay there until the roots take hold.Have been using ths method fior a few years now and never had a problem.

just for the record the silicone worked for like a week lol. i ended up going with stainless steel screws.
