Probably not after shipping and handling. They do have the best local prices I've found but I agree $50 seems like a lot to spend on 1 piece of wood. I've found that driftwood is just one of those things that never goes on sale. Try heading out to lake superior one day before it gets cold out again. There is a guy I met at the local auctions who collected some pieces from there and mounted them to slate and they were pretty nice.

That is a long drive from the Detroit area. Maybe Lake Huron :)

I stopped by FF today and they didn't have what I am looking for
