Driftwood in the salt tank?

So I was wondering if any has put any kind of driftwood in their salt tank? Should I or should I not?

Will it effect my ph?

i would not add any wood to a salt tank... yes lower the PH

Salt water will break down wood. This will not work.

The wood will lower ph and discolor you water a little bit, i dont reimend that you use it in a salt tank.

NO DRIFTWOOD!!!
Mangroves, but NO DRIFTWOOD. The salt will leach the tanins and other chemicals out of the wood... Its a salt tank, use liverock... no wood.

u could get fake wood if you still like the look of it
