I'm planning to grow some java moss that I ordered onto 2 pieces of driftwood and a prop, but I don't exactly know where I should place the driftwood for the best aesthetic appeal. Give me some ideas on the two pieces of driftwood placement!

Pics! The driftwoods are the pride-rock looking one on the far left and the flat looking one right next to it. The prop is the one on the far right with the moss balls in it. (is it possible to grow java moss on that? I think it's made of like pvc material)

Placement realy depends on how you want it to look. I would maybe put the larger piece of wood in the middle of the tank. Java moss will grow to just about any thing. If you want to stay in place then just tie some fishing line around the moss and what ever you want it to grow on. I have a java moss rock I started a while back. I had a small amount of moss and placed it on top of a rock then covered the rock and moss with a hair net. It grew throught the net and now you can't even see it. I want to grow a moss tree, but have not found the right piece of wood yet.

i would put the one on the left half way between the middle and the left side and more to the front. and the one on the right half way between the middle and the right and more to the back. And give the arows a little figure eight pattern to swim. If they actually swim on the bottom. But it is all personell prefference. And if you are any thing like me i switch my tank up every water change pretty much. good luck with what you are trying to do i have allways wanted to do the same kind of thing with the moss. I wanted to make a complete grass bottom with it on one of my old 240's but couldnt find a good place to get it at the time.
