Driftwood Question

Can I weigh down my driftwood with fishing sinkers until it stays by itself? Or will the lead in it hurt the fish? Thanks

That is what I thought but I was hoping! Any suggestions? It is a 29" tall hex and a 28" x 7" x 6" and I want the piece to stand basically on end.

You can use fishing line to tie your driftwood to rocks. This will hold your driftwood down until it is waterloged

I have huge stainless steel washers and bolts screwed into the botom of my driftwood that wont sink.
I need to do a gravel vac today so I pulled it up to show you.

Lead is fine in fish tanks. Plants are very often weighed down with these for aquatic stores.
