Driftwood Suggestions?

What should I use for my little turtles O_O;;

Does PetsMart or PetCo sell any drift wood [Floating ones]?

I don't feel safe just dropping a random log/peice of wood in the pool.. O_O;;

There is little Red Ear's, and Softshells in there under an inch/inch half at most.. And I was told that they needed something to stand on to get sunlight O_O;; Can someone help me on this?

Wood is wood. Hardwood works best (although the turtles might like floating wood). Grab a piece, clean it off (and boil it, if desired) and let your turtles enjoy. (If you had fish, you'd want to be more careful).

Check out the reptile section at pet shops for floating driftwood. Most LFS's carry bogwood which tends not to float.

some pet stores sell those turtle's basking space that floats on your tank and is made up of styros,yeah all turtles needs sunlight...and I am cruel coz mine doesn't have any sunlight and a basking space for a month..

i have a backing platform for my 2 little 1.5'' turtles, they go up on it, seem to like it. i would recomend it
