I want to get some driftwood for my 55 and im having a hard time finding a place with a decent selection or decent prices. Does anybody know of any good websites where i can buy driftwood?
Thanks
Some of the Petsmarts have Mopani wood! If you get there when they just stock their shelf/new shipment some of it is awesome and it sinks right away! Just soak it in a bucket and keep changing the water in the bucket until it comes out clear. (Takes 5-10 water changes over about 2 weeks to leach out most of the tannins). Mopani wood is the best/safest/longest lasting driftwood I've found. I think it is the most beautiful too!
I see your on the other side of the continent but thatfishplace.com has some very nice sinking driftwood. I live close and get to visit the store (its a huge store I'm not sure if the web site lists all the items that the store has) but you can check.
