Is there a such thing as having to much in one tank. I have a 110gallon and thinking of putting like 20 pieces in all bigger then 2feet...

Just depends on the person i guess... personally i don't think you can have too much unless it means the fish can no longer swim around freely in the tank without knocking into the DW every second...

In a 110, unless the pieces are pretty thin, 20 of them is a bit overboard, IMO, lol. But gotta ask first, what will you be keeping in there?

If you're going to be keeping things like discus and angels, then I wouldn't think twice about putting in 20 pieces of driftwood. But if it's going to be a larger and more robust fish like a guapote, datnoid, or the equivalent of those fish then (again, depending on how wide the pieces are and how you plan to stack them), I wouldn't advise it.

I have a lot of manzanita in my discus biotope. the only problem is getting my hand through all the branches to vacuum the sand, but it looks so sweet.

Be prepared to perform more frequent filter cleanings. My filters clog up with brown gunk very quickly in the one tank that has DW.

I removed the DW from all the other tanks; I can now easily go 6+ months between filter cleanings. The DW tank needs the canisters cleaned every month.

that would be a PAIN to vac...

ok ok i sorry i not smart it is any thing from 2" to 12" not feet. Also the fish are peacock cichlids sorry for the confusion
