Driftwood

Saw some magnificent driftwood today--skeletons of giant trees from our area.

We took home this "little" one complete with rock wedged in the roots. We're considering putting it at one end of the tank to prevent the pacu from slamming into the walls--to be used sort of like a stop sign.

Cool driftwood, you could always cut them down to the proper length too

yeah, finding driftwood rocks, the wood in my tanks i just grabbed off the shore of a river haha

Nice pieces, but in my experience, that type of wood NEVER sinks. You could weight it down for years and it would still float. There's bodies of water in my area littered with awesome looking pieces of wood, but good luck getting them to sink. Nice to look at, not good for aquariums though.
