What type? Manzanita, Malaysian, spider, Bonsai Tree, etc.?
I would recommend going to a store to buy some because then you can see the driftwood and get a much better idea of what it would be than you could online
+1 buying online is a crapshoot! I’ve tried it twice and was disappointed both times. I finally found my piece walking around by a mostly dried up lake. Good luck!!

I get all mine by fort benning down in a creek. Check out any local creeks and go driftwood hunting. If you do then I strongly recommend boiling any and all wood you get and maybe even letting them dry out then repeating a few times if you want to be extra safe.

Most of mine is procured from Lake Ontario, but I have purchased Malaysian from Amazon. Like fishhead0103666 said, try to treat the wild stuff before you drop it in. I usually do a hot water soak and a pressure washing before adding to tank.

I never pay for drift wood either. The best place I know of to get it is a local river. If its clean I just let it dry before using it. If it`s caked with mud the I`ll brush it off and boil it first. I have never had a problem and I have been doing this for many years. I have probably saved myself a thousand dollars and have liked every piece I`ve ever brought home!

If you happen to be in georgia op then I have a laundry basket full of driftwood I’m hoarding that is too big for my tanks if you want to get it?

Unfortunately, I'm in SC. Thanks though
