Hi I'm after some help in grasping the actual plumbing side/ operation of a drilled tank set up. I have been searching for days but most threads seem to be the overflow box type.
My 7ftx2ftx2ft is just finnished being built with 4ft sump. I have had two weirs put in place as was told this would be better later on in life for a marine set up. This were I need guidance the water flows over comb into the sump though bio mech filtration thou refuge and back into tank by return pump. How does the water get back to tank??? Is there a twin port on drilled hole or have I got put additional piping in place. With this would a hole need to be drilled in return or checki valve. All help is greatly received thanks in advance
