okay, so my 112g is filled and has been running for some time now.
there are holes drilled in the back of the stand already but they are not high enough on the back panel.

I just got a new canister filter, and I cant get it to run unless its a little elevated from ground level, but with it elevated, the hoses are unable to go through the pre-drilled holes; therefore I would need to make new ones.

I guess my question is; are there any dangers of drilling holes in the stand while the tank is full? perhaps I do it with the tank half empty first?
Im due for a really thorough water change anyways...

any input would be greatly appreciated.

just make sure you know what's on the other side of the wood

don't take any risks, just like bbortko says: make sure you know what's on the other side of the wood

haha okay yeah, im not gunna drill into cords or anything

my main concern is compromising the structural stability of the stand by adding more holes, especially when the tank is full of water and weighs over 1000lbs.

opinions?

I think its better to drill seperately
