i have a 150 undrilled tank, i believe its an old perfecto tank. canister filters and HOBs just aint cuttin it. i want a sump but my tank isnt drilled and i dont like the HOB overflows. canm this tank be drilled either on the back or on the bottom for a corner overflow or will i just have to hunt up a used drilled tank?

search the DIY threads, there are plenty; including some with links to products and instructions. With the right tools, it's not too hard. I did it on my dads tank: Diamond hole saw, a guide to hold water and guide the saw, took about 15 minutes.

i already e-mailed them...last week. i was just wondering if maybe the glass was different or thicker on drilled tanks because i see some tanks (that still have their warning stickers) say not to drill the tank because it is tempered glass or something. i just cant afford 150 gallons and 40+ fish on my kitchen floor.
