I want to add a drip line to my 210g tank. It's in the living room on the slab/main floor of the house, so I'll already have to drill a hole in the sump and wall behind the tank to drain the overflow in to my rain gutter and away from the house.

Now to get the fresh line to the tank. It's about 30 feet from the closest water line. I feel like the easiest way for me to get the water there is to run a line from the sink up the 10' wall and hide it in the crown molding, then down to the tank behind the curtains.

Normal old clear air tube probably wouldn't very visible. I'm considering 20-30 gallons per day, of course with a pressure regulator. So the question - can the air tube handle that kind of pressure?

I believe the silicone based airline tubing is much better than the standard ones. I've had standard ones crack over time

Is it clear and flexible? I'll have two 90*-ish turns at the crown molding.
It looks exactly the same but way more pliable like 10 times more soft. It won't get hard like air line tubing and crack. Those bends will be perfect for it. Its actually better for that application. Also I am not sure what material it is but my fathers R/O lines are very rigid and tough. You might want to look into that. Someone can chime in since I don't know what material that is.

Heres a link to the silicone based one.

They make smaller PVC - 3/8" or smaller (my bro uses it for his drip). You can run it and paint it the same color as your walls too. Done right, I think it would look clean and not too bad.

If you use air line make sure that it doesn't catch sunlight on it anywhere because a. it will grow algae in it, and more importantly b. The uv light in the sun will degrade the plastic, causing it to crack a lot faster.
