As title says.
I used to do it with a bucket and a stop watch. Then I hooked up more and more tanks. Now I simply take the click interval of my Chemilizer as right rough indicator.

How do you all do it?

I only have one drip system for one tank so mine is the 5 gallon bucket test.

Drip emitters on 3 tanks, the 240 I inject into return pipe so I'm mostly guessing on it. I could time a bucket where the water pours out of the side of my house and deduct the emitter totals. I still change water when I vacuum as well.

I do the calculation in milliliters first, do the math to figure out how many ml you want per 30 seconds, and take a small measuring cup and see how long it takes to fill. For example, 100 gallons per day works out to 136 ml per 30 seconds I believe, so I take a 125 mil measuring spoon and get it to overflow a little bit to the 30 second mark.

Empty beer can and the stopwatch on my phone.

measuring jug, stopwatch, and a seat. (Yes the seat is necessary, I am very lazy when it comes to spending time standing around)
