My drip system waste water will come from my sump and will be plumbed into the trap under my kitchen sink. I got to thinking though, if the waste line were to get clogged, my tank would eventually overflow. What is the best way to prevent this?

On my setup, I am draining using a pump to the rain barrel in the back yard. I have a leak preventer setup with solenoid valve and a leak detector.

Basically if the pump is not running, water will overflow. I have a leak detector right by the sump, as soon as water touches it, it's send a shut off power to the solenoid and turn the drip off.

The solenoid is normally closed (open when powered, closed when not powered)
