So i recently saw Joey's new video for drip system and its making me want to build one as well. the only issue is i dont where the watersource comes from! can anyone give pictures and some suggestions of where the water source should come from?

under any sink is a water line to tap into or under the house. I would locate the water lines under the house and go from there. Mine was close to the tank so I glued a T and put a garden hose end on it, screwed the regulator to it and ran the line up to my tank. You only have to drill a small hole to run the 1/4" line up the floor

hmm what about the chloromine issue? i know i can use carbon for chlorine but chloromine is ammonia based... i doubt the carbon will filter the chloramine.

RO will unbind ammonia from chlorine and remove chlorine. Your bio filter will convert that ammonia to nitrate. if you want to remove ammonia too, youll have to get an RO/DI unit.

if you have a basement the water lines should be exposed. Is the tank in the basement or the first floor?

You should have water lines in the ceiling of your basement or you can tap into the sink in your basement. Make sure it's the cold wipe, white pvc
