im gonna put a 180 gal cattle watering trough, behind my garage to raise mollies and gambusia in (feeders) i plan on putting a 1.5" of soil under 2" of pea gravel. I have a bunch of jungle vals, and I will get some plants from a near by pond as well. I want to set up a drip system on the pond to keep it full and add new water. I plan on running a a power head for circulation , perhaps through a 5 gal bucket full of bio balls not sure if i will need it with all the plants.
questions:
my municipality uses injects chlorine gas into the water, out of the tap it is at 1 ppm, how much water can i drip into the 180 gal pond per day (i figure 150 gal of actual water in the pond)
do i just use a needle valve to get the correct drip or something else?
