Drop eye surgery

Has anyone attempted this? I'd like to hear experiences, good or bad. Very limited info and most videos on YouTube are in foreign language with no "after" clips. I'm Considering trying this on my 2' silver. He has one very bad eye, it looks straight down.

That looks pretty unnecessarily brutal!

But for a silver is it worth it? Silvers are prone to it and I don't think ever seen any around 2ft without drop eye. Seems pretty cruel to me

Ya that's some of the info I'm trying to gather. I'm not sure how temporary or permanent the fix would be. Not alot of info out there.
