Drop eye ??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Will that work?
Drop eye is caused by feeding fatty food such as feeder goldfish, poor diet. It's NOT from looking down. Drop eye can be repaired by eye surgery and a ping pong ball floating to strengthen muscles, but it will not prevent drop eye. Your little guy looks just fine

To note, Asian arowana can get it from too much tanning, I'm sure glare has something to do with it, alot of Asian owners cover all 3 sides of aquarium or raise them in fibreglass tanks.

I disagree my aro got drop eye at about 8 inches. Never gave it feeders just carnivore sticks and crickets. I think it has more to do with them slamming their head on the lid on a daily basis.
