Looks like dropsy. Get it to a tank with epsom salt ASAP, dropsy is a 50/50 thing for fish.

Usually by the time fish pine cones it’s already too late. Hopefully the epsom salt helps.

Would that be a bath or feeding it food soaked in epsom salt Hendre Hendre ?

I treated dropsy in my one Killi by putting it in a tank with epsom salt (dosage by kno4te kno4te ) and kept it there till the swelling went away

Neat. I hope I don’t have to do that with any fish I care for. I inherited about 300 guppies with my 180 when I picked it up and most had dropsy- that’s how I found out about it. Lol. We won’t talk about how I cured them :FIREdevil

Ive only ever had a single fish get dropsy and kept thinking it would heal up through treatment and clean water. I wish I would've euthanized it way sooner before it passed away because of how bloated it got along with popped eyes and septicemia. The poor thing definitely suffered.
