Is there a guide some where for the ferts on http://www.aquariumfertilizer.com/Store.php

If i use PMDD Pre-Mix what else do i need to add?

If i use CSM+B Plantex what else would i need to add?

From what I'm getting the PMDD has CSM+B in it?

I want to try either the dry ferts or
Tropica Plant Nutrition Liquid.

But i am confused on the dry ferts.

Right now I am using Flourish Excel and Plant sticks for rooted Plants.

Thanks nate.

Hi Nate77,

I am also in the middle of researching fertilizer and would like to buy from aquariumfertilizer. I've been reading about PMDD and EI and I am trying to work out the differences between the two methods and see if the PMDD is enough or if it needs to be supplimented. My concern with PMDD is that it is all mixed together and cant be spread out like in EI (alternated dosing). Right now I am reading through http://www.thekrib.com/Plants/Fertilizer/pmdd-tim.html and I'm just taking notes on everything I read and attempting to get the "big picture" on all of this. Being that it was a few weeks ago that you posted here, have you come up with any new info? I will post here again with my plans once I get a better idea of what I am going to do.

There seems to be lots of info out there, but it is either too simplified as in "plants need co2, light, and fertilizers" or its beyond where I am at right now. My biggest frustration is all of the contradictions that are out there. I just assume that people write about what has worked for them... and different environments have different needs. So, I guess its not surprising that there are as many suggestions as there are aquarists.
