DSLR New pick up... African pike

awesome great pickup I love african pikes there great fish not to nasty very cool to watch and the hit goldfish like nothing else lol not to mention very hardy.

nice pick up, but very skiddish fish as you can tell by its nose.

bump up that temp to 84 and a touch of salt will do wonders on his nose

^ will do. do you think it will take him a while to start eating? i bought some feeders and he had no interest in them

i would just try again in a couple days, they love feeders and later you can get him on prep food

ya they are great eaters just give it time. Mine were about the same size as yours and each one used to eat 5 goldfish a day. they ate so much. good luck man
