I have a 210 gallon tank currently with a single fx5 and a fluval 205. I'm thinking about upgrading but I'm not to sure on whether to buy another fx5 and just have to two fx5's or whether I should get overflow box into a sump tank. I'd really appreciate any feedback. Thank you

How heavy is your bio load? Do you like the fx5 (not just when its operating but maintenance also) either one would work it really just comes down to personal preference. they both have pros and cons to each, me personally I would just get a 2nd fx5 if for no other reason than to streamline the maintenance

Edit: and a big welcome to mfk to you!

in the tank now i have two red festae's, a large Jack dempsey, a small Jack Dempsey, and a 3 inch jaguar and a common pleco. I do like the fx5 because it is easily maintained but adding a sump will give my tank exta volume.

The extra volume of a sump is definitely useful, it also let's you pick and choose the ratio of mechanical/bio filtering. But like I said the fx5 will make maintenance a breeze, point is they will both do the job. It really comes down to your preference since there is no wrong choice, in my opinion. I also think drilling the tank could be beneficial for a tank this size if you choose to do a sump.

Totally off topic but I wouldnt mind seeing pics of your tank if you don't mind posting them?

Yeah I'm not really to sure about my decision yet. This is going to be more of a winter project so I have time to think it over. Of course I'll post up some pictures of my tank up for you.

I really appreciate the feedback from you and everyone else. All of your advise will be put into consideration. Thank you
