About a year ago i made a triple stand for three 60gal tanks. After a few i didnt like how high the top tank was and how low the bottom one was, this made me less aware of the fish in those tanks.
Heres a dual stand for two 40gal tanks and i got the hights just perfect. Hope you guy like it. Also if your in socal and want one built, just let me know and ill be more than glad to make it for you.

Great job. What kind of wood did you use to build that?

Thanks, i used 2x4s for the frame and pine wood for the face of the stand

That looks great. It's a lot like the one I did for two 30's.

The only thing I would suggest you add to yours is some trim to cover the bottom trim of your tanks. It throws your view of the inside of the tank off, when you see that black tank trim, next to the wood. IMO.

That is beautiful. I do agree with JoelR on adding the trim work. I think it will make a beautiful set even better.

Thanks, i was going to to make it so that all you could see is the glass without the trim but was in a hurry that i forgot.

If i were to add a molding the way it is now, it wouldnt look too good.
