Many of you have wondered if it's possible to build a dual tank stand. This will give you an idea on how to build one. Tanks will be 90 cm long, 45 cm wide, and 40 cm tall. Of course, you can customize it to whatever size you need. You can actually fit a third tank on top. But, given that Taipei is in an earthquake zone, I'm a bit cautious about doing that. I wouldn't attempt doing this at home if this will be your first stand. All pieces are precistly cut, and everything has been measured and completely level. No room for error in a stand such as this one.IMGP2175.JPGIMGP2176.JPGIMGP2177.JPGIMGP2178.JPGIMGP2179.JPGIMGP2180.JPG

Thanks guys. I'm ordering tanks soon. The good thing is that in Taiwan, tanks are cheap, a fraction of US prices. They are all custom made. So, all I do is build a stand to whatever size I want, and then I tell the LFS the size tank I want. I'm going to put 2 tanks, 90cm x 45 cm x 40 cm. That's approximately 36" x 18" x 16". Each tank costs about $40 US dollars each. Tanks are made and delivered to your doorstep in about a week. I've been in Taiwan almost 4 years now, and I've got to say that it's much more convenient keeping fish here. I will keep you guys posted with pics as this is being set up.

If the ceiling is high enough that could easily hold 3 tanks!
