I started this thread so we can sort out your filtration...
So far we have a:
bottom drilled 210 w/2 x 2" bulkheads
A sump w/2 x 1" slip bulkheads
An Iwaki 40 822gph pump w/3/4" fittings

We can also use images here to clairify the fit...

Do you have these in the bottom of the overflows?

do you have just bare glass with a hole?

Thats exactly what I have, and it has a 2" pvc glued to it.

Yeah it is a bit misleading, now that I read it back to myself...

but it will be not as technical as setting up some Italian Iron...hopefully...
