ducklings in CA???

They are messy pets but yes, they are legal in California unless prohibited by local ordinance. here is a link to a breeder of pet ducks in Ca.

they are cool, but really messy animals. and really they do need a water source like a pond. it isnt as easy as it looks like on friends. chickens are easier
 
um... my school bio teacher buys fertal eggs and incubates them her slef and hatches them out... then that class gets to keep em ...

last year was chickens.. this year ducks..next year... who knows .....
 
I had a pet duck before, it was pretty sweet. We found him in our yard, a cat had him, so we grew him up and he became our attack duck. He would chase anybody who walked pass our house and if they stopped he would bite them. But one day a dog got him, I was so sad:cry: . We had him for like 3 years and he would take off in the winter and come back in the spring. It was pretty cool.
