my convicts breefd before i bought them and again in my 10 gallon tank\
they had a buncha babbies
i feed about half to my other fish and wanted to keep them rest
the female has become more and more agresive randomly
and now i can only find mabey 1 or 2 fry in the tank
what do you think happend
im trying to breed em for food

Convicts are good parents, but only for so long.
If you are serious about breeding the fish, once the pair have fry, after a few days remove them to another tank for grow out…

How big are they parents? Mine will leave the fry alone but they are in a 55, a 10 gallon will feel cramped fast so she is more then likely killing them off as they are taking up too much room in the 10.

lol dither, not filter. A dither is a dummy fish that the cons can focus on during breeding so that way they don't pick on each other. Danios make great dilter fish.
