i know coral catsharks are little more active, then the marble, but this seems like this little guy has to keep moving to stay alive aha :P , he seems to be doing good eating perfectly , feeding squid at the moment , but i know they are partially nocturnal , but is it bad if they bump into the glass ? it doesn't seem like its doing damage , just wanna make sure i wont have a problem in the future / also he can be completely chill when its dark , but once any type of light turns on he starts swimming and kina bumping into the tank haha

also , could him moving around so much , be that he's ( yes hes a boy :) ) hungry ? just ive never seen a catshark moves to much aha

well thats good i guess, i feed him today, he took the squid nice and fast but doesn't like the scallops also, do u think i should put a piece of pvc in there,

alright well can you help me, its body has like a brownish redish coloration to it , shortly after i did a water change on the tank. . . my ammonia was a little high (.2) if i believe so , i know flamme me all you want. hes eating well and breathing well, could the coloration be a stress thing . . god I hope so. . . also they said putting an airstone in the take while bring my ammonia down ? is that true.. i don't see any problems with the shark only that the color on the under belly has changed since i did a water change.

An airstone won't directly change the ammonia level. Ammonia causes the gills to struggle for O2 exchange, so what you are really doing is making it easier for the shark to get O2 out of the water by increasing gas exhange at the water surface.

Is the ammonia spike a new thing? Is there extra food stuck in a corner breaking down or something?
