Not to spam with two threads back to back. But.....I was at petsmart and was looking at the parrots for a while and I was wondering,......they have 2 tanks full of parrots. 1 is bigger bright orange, red, and pink ones (all solid in color) and the tank on the bottom is full of [parrots that are all random colors, and some seem to have flowers down the side. On a few of them they were all bright bright yellow with a solid black top. My question is this...Do they stay the colors they are in the tank? or will they be solid pink/orange/red? Are the ones with the flowers FHxparrots? Some had stripes, has anyone grown one of these out? Do you have pics? Thanks in advance.....

2 tanks 1 mixed various colors and some with flowers, and the other with the big ones are mainly orange and red and pink....

king kongs, bps, and fhxbps?

Are you guessing or are you still not sure what I am trying to say?

They are 29.99 for the big ones. And 9.99 for the small ones. All the big ones are solid colors. All the small ones look different, none are solid anything. I am looking for anyone who has bought one from the tank with the smaler ones with black patches and such, to see if they stay that way or if some are bonsai TBH....

i am not one hundred percent but i do think the black will fade off the smaller ones as the begin to grom its kind of like the red devil or midas when the do the same as the grow if i am wrong some one please correct me

Every blood parrot that I've bought faded to yellow/orange. Juvies are a dark green or grey with flowers. They usually turn really dark just before starting their colour change. Some change really quickly and some seem to take forever to get rid of the black blotches. I highly doubt that petsmart would get any fh x bps as they probably always order their stuff from the same farms. I'm not sure how to make bonsai's. I've bred a fh/bp x bp and all the fry were shaped like flowerhorns, however some did fade to orange.

That is EXACTLY what I was looking for...Thanks bro. I'm glad I did not buy the five or six that were exceptional. I already have 4 that I love so much. Just wanted some different colors, but if they are the same as the ones I have then I don't need them after all :) thanks a bunch....
