Dumb question...

I bought an external water pump for my aquariums and it came with absolutely no instructions.

The dumb question is, which side is the intake, and which is the output??? This is the model I bought.

Is the intake the straight piece coming off the end? Or the piece going straight up? Thanks.

The intake, (aquarium to pump) is on the side. The output is on top.

The top one is usually the out n the one on the side is usually the in. or just put it in a bucket outside n put your rain cap on... then you will be 100% positive which is which

or throw it in the bathtub half full and pull the curtain back just don't point what's most likely the output up or your ceiling will get wet.

guess I should buy a raincoat lol
