i just got my 3 baby peacock bass today and they are about 3-3.5 inches...i also got a south american redtail cat...he is about 5 inches...what are the chances this pig eats the pbass?

I'd say feed those Pbass as much as they will eat and hope they grow quick.

Or, more realistically, ditch the RTC until the Pbass are large enough to not get eaten.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if you already lost a pbass before checking these responses. RTCs have a rep for making most seemingly too large tankmates disappear.
