durso draining

I have read somewhere in Mfkers that if you setup for durso draining. The part behind the overflow box inside the tank part should be over sized.. is that true?? Know why it should be over sized.. once after the bulkhead below the tank I should run the size of the bulkhead..
 
By oversize, do you mean having a larger diameter than the pipe on the other end of the bulkhead? I think some folks do that as it creates greater flow pressure. If your drain size meets the flow/turnover needs, then I don't think it's a design criteria, IMO.

correct.. increase the durso stand pipe.. like your bulkhead is 1.5" but you use 2" diameter size durso stand pipe and fittings...
