I also would like to know how hard they are to keep. My local lfs has 2 freshwater stingrays, but my tank is only a 55 gallon. They however have had them for 1 month, in less than a 30 gallon. And is 80.00 too high priced??

they are fairly easy to keep as long you keep the water clean of ammonia, nitrite, and minimal nitrate. must be feed with good food, especially when young.

second, you CAN NOT keep this in a 55g tank. if you ever decide to upgrade to a bigger tank then you should look into one. $80.00 for one is pretty decent. just make sure it is eating at the LFS before bringing it home.

Good price but you will want a much much larger tank. the motoro will get to about (disk size) 14 inches and needs a tank that is atleast 30 inches in width something like a 200+
