i recently purchased what was labled "Dwarf Bagarius" from All-Happy, one of our vendors here on MFK. the little guy is just under an inch, tiny as can be.

did anyone else pick one or a few of these guys up?

reason i ask, is i got him a few weeks ago and havnt seen any growth at all. now, in my experience, any predatory fish that starts this small grows like a WEED for the first few months. and in my experience, this is especially true with catfish.

i started snooping around and found out that this fish may actually be : http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species=pseudolaguvia+ribeiroi&species_id=987

so
i was wondering if anyone else had picked a few of these up or seen any grown on these supposed dwarf bagarid cats that All-Happy was selling. im mostly certain they werent really bagarids at all, but a member of that much smaller (in size, not in members) genus......any input would be great. cant get pics cuz the thing is so damn small....they all come out like a pic of a booger on the bottom of the tank.....

if its the planetcatfish one you linked, you've definitely got a dwarf cat!

yeah, a few of these have been goin around lately. you have the correct link, and its probably not a true bagarius species. It may be full grown at an inch
